The City of Oxford Rowing Club has a thriving and successful Junior squad. Our coaches are volunteers who are inspired by seeing juniors develop in the sport.
If you would like to know more about joining CORC please contact the Junior Coordinator Gina Allen on email@example.com
Please include your phone number with any emails so that we may respond by phone.
This squad includes all junior athletes from 12 to 18 years old. The training emphasis is on long term athlete development, good technique and training to race well. We train up to 6 times a week and this includes the famous Sunday morning heads. This squad has produced many national level crews and some international GB athletes. Recent results can be found in Results and Wins.
We consider children at the age of 11 to 12 years only after their participation in the Junior Beginners Rowing Course (see below). Our next course is in September 2017.
Children older than 12 years will only be considered if they have had previous experience of rowing and after vetting by our coaches.

Then the following four Saturday’s: 30th September, 7th October, 14th October and 21st October at 11am to 2pm. This is run by several coaches assisted by many of the more experienced juniors.
