Women's Squads

The City of Oxford Rowing Club is stronger than ever with four squads of women training, improving and racing. In recent years we have won medals at Women’s Henley, Ghent International Regatta and the National Championships of Great Britain as well as loads of pots at domestic regional regattas, even in our own City Royal Regatta.

In 2011 we had three crews qualify for Henley Women's Regatta - with two making the final and at the National Championships of Great Britain two crews won gold and were selected to row for England at Home Countries International Regatta. We usually have between 4 and 6 boats entered in the Women’s Head of the River Race.

We aim to provide opportunities for women of all levels to race and succeed. Senior rowing is divided into three tiers based principally on commitment.

Women of any level of experience are welcome to join whichever group suits their goals and commitment level.
